Calving time is behind us; mothers and calves are doing well but everyone is eager for spring to kick it in gear. Less mud, more dandelions, say we and the bees. Seed starting time is here, and we’re filling trays as fast as our little hands can plant! In other news, the other day Jodi and I were driving through the New Glarus stoplight when what appeared to be a large roll of masking tape dropped off the back of an oncoming pickup and hurtled into our van. No damage done, but upon further inspection, the tape turned out to be a large block of Klondike Cheese Company brick cheese. Now THAT’s Wisconsin, baby!
